A republic of independent teachers.
Where the educator, not the institution, decides what is taught, to whom, and how. TeachRepublic keeps the work around the lesson in one place — enrolment, fee records, attendance and a weekly report to parents — so that less of the teacher's time goes to paperwork.
The lesson belongs to the teacher.
Nothing is standardised, licensed or owned by the platform. The syllabus, the notes, the manner of explanation and the fee are the teacher's alone.
A classroom needs no infrastructure.
A telephone on a stand, a notebook and a Google Meet link constitute a complete classroom. The platform prescribes no hardware and no studio.
Families install nothing.
Every page a parent or student touches opens in the browser from a link: the class page, the payment page, the class button. The weekly report arrives as a WhatsApp message.
A month of teaching, as it actually runs
Screens from the app’s new design, filled with sample data. Select any step, or allow the sequence to play.
Three steps of setup. After that, a few minutes a week.
Set up the class
Grade, subject and board; the days and the hour; the monthly fee. A short form. A public page and join code for the class are created at once. You add your Google Meet link once, and the schedule goes to calendars while Google is connected.
Publish one link
Families open the class page in their browser, read the schedule, the fee and the terms, and request admission. The teacher admits each student with a single confirmation.
Teach
Fee reminders go out on WhatsApp with one tap each, the student's Join button appears once the month's fee is settled, attendance is marked in one tap, and a factual weekly report is drafted for every parent when you open Reports, for you to read and send.
The teacher governs the classroom. The platform keeps the office.
On the student's page, the Join button appears once the fee is recorded or the parent reports the payment; you confirm it from your bank.
You mark who attended, for online and offline classes alike. Attendance taken automatically from Google Meet is not available.
Sessions are placed in Google Calendar as private invitations while your Google account is connected. A cancellation or holiday updates those calendars.
A permanent address that states the schedule, fee, trial class and terms — fit for .
A small topic bank covers some chapters (CBSE Class 10 and 12 science, maths and computer science; AP Chemistry and Computer Science; Common Core Algebra and Geometry; SAT and ACT). For those it starts your plan with objectives, key formulas and ideas and one concept question; you write the rest and save it to your own Google Drive. A test draft takes the bank's questions and questions you paste, and you check each one before it is published. No AI writes anything.
What follows when a teacher sends you a link.
The teacher's name, the timetable, the monthly fee, the trial class and the refund terms are set out on one page, before any commitment.
The class button appears on the student's page fifteen minutes before each session. There are no links to search for and none that expire.
Attendance for the week and the scores of tests taken that week. The teacher sends it on WhatsApp; a week with no attendance marked says so.
A parent's name and a contact for the weekly report. No application, no password, no card details, and no advertising.
Offered without charge, and built to remain so.
TeachRepublic takes no subscription and no share of any fee. This is not an introductory arrangement; it is a consequence of how the platform is made.
Families pay the teacher directly by . There is no payment gateway, and therefore no charge to recover.
Hosting and database run on their provider's free plans, and the platform is built to stay within those limits.
Nothing a teacher writes, records or tests is licensed, resold or used to train anything. There is no premium tier because there is nothing to withhold.
If a large academy one day requires capacity beyond the free tiers, an optional plan will be offered to it, announced at least 90 days in advance. The independent teacher's use will remain without charge.
Sign in with Google. No card is requested and no trial period applies.
The unremarkable matters, handled properly.
Payments
Every payment page shows the teacher's name and as the teacher entered them; the teacher's phone number is checked by SMS code. Families pay the teacher directly, and should pay only to the identifier shown on that page.
Children's data
For each student the platform stores: the name, Google email and photo; the student's phone, age band and country; a parent's name, phone and email; the name typed to agree, with the time and browser; classes joined and attendance; test answers and scores, including how many times the test tab was left and when; fee reports with the transaction ID; and any support messages or reports the family sends. There is no advertising and no data is sold.
Google access
Calendar is used solely to place class sessions in calendars; Drive solely to save documents a teacher chooses to create. Privacy policy · Terms
Concerns about a class or a payment may be raised from the student's page, or by writing to support@teachrepublic.org, which is read by a person.
Commonly asked
Is particular equipment required?
No. A telephone on a stand, directed at a notebook, sharing video on Google Meet, is a complete classroom. The platform concerns itself with everything around the lesson, not the lesson.
Must parents download anything?
No. The class page, the payment page and the class button all open in the browser from a link; the weekly report arrives as a WhatsApp message. A student signs in with Google once so that the class page remembers them.
How does a fee reach the teacher?
What if a parent has paid but the teacher has not yet recorded it?
The parent may enter the on the payment page. The Join button appears at once and the teacher sees the reported payment, to confirm from their own bank or mark as not received.
What does the weekly report contain?
Attendance for the week and the scores of any tests taken that week. A week with no attendance marked is reported as such. Nothing else is added.
May the teacher review reports before they are sent?
Yes. Nothing goes out on its own: each week's reports are drafts, and the teacher sends each one on WhatsApp.
Is there a Chrome extension?
Not one that works with the current app. An older TeachRepublic extension for Meet attendance is still listed on the Chrome Web Store, but it does not work with this version of the platform, so there is no need to install it. The teacher marks attendance in one tap.
Does the platform serve both India and the United States?
Yes. The region is chosen once and everything follows from it: UPI, rupees and the CBSE, ICSE and State boards in India; Zelle or Venmo, dollars and Common Core or AP in the United States.
The republic is entered one class at a time.
Sign in with Google, set up your first class, and publish its link. From then on, the records keep themselves in one place.
